1. Overview
Reading Streak Tracker is provided by INSPIRIA LIMITED. The Android app works entirely offline. It does not create an account, require sign-in, include advertising, include analytics, or transmit your reading data to us or to third parties.
In short: the app does not collect your reading data. Books, sessions, notes, milestones, and preferences stay on your device.
2. Data stored by the app
The app stores the following information locally on your Android device:
- Books you add, including title, optional author, status, page progress, and reading dates.
- Reading sessions, including date, minutes read, optional pages read, and optional notes.
- Reading milestones and streak progress.
- App settings, including reading goal, schedule, theme, and optional reminder time.
This information is not transmitted to INSPIRIA LIMITED.
3. Permissions
The app may request Android notification permission so it can show optional reading reminders. This permission is used only for reminders you enable. You can switch reminders off in the app or revoke notification permission in Android settings.
The app does not request internet, location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, videos, SMS, phone, calendar, or health permissions.
4. Data sharing and export
The app does not sell, share, or transfer your reading data to us or to third parties.
If you choose Export reading data, the app creates a plain-text export and opens the Android share sheet. You choose where that export is sent. It may contain book titles, reading sessions, notes, and milestones, so review your chosen destination before sharing.
5. Backup and device transfer
Automatic Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup are disabled for the app database and settings. This keeps the offline privacy model consistent, but it also means your data will not automatically move to a new device.
6. Data deletion
You can delete all app data at any time from Settings by choosing Reset all data. You can also clear the app’s storage or uninstall it through Android settings. These actions permanently remove local data, so export first if you want to keep a copy.
7. This website
This static website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or account systems. It stores only an optional light/dark theme preference in your browser’s local storage. The support form does not submit information to a website server; it opens your device’s email app with the message you entered.
When you send us an email or call us, we receive the contact information and content you choose to provide and use it to respond to your enquiry. Your email or telecommunications provider processes that communication under its own terms.
8. Children’s privacy
The app is a general-audience reading tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other user.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or website changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
